Bio
Last Nkala, a 43-year-old man from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, is fighting an incredibly difficult battle with chronic kidney failure. Three times a week, he must undergo dialysis at a hospital in Bulawayo, treatments that keep him alive but also drain what little strength and resources we has left. Each dialysis session costs USD 100, an amount far beyond our means as his family , especially now that his illness has taken away his ability to work.
On top of these treatments, he depends on vital medications that cost USD 100 every two weeks. These expenses continue to rise, and without help, managing even the basics of his care has become overwhelming.
Yet despite the pain, the exhaustion, and the uncertainty, he continues to fight. His spirit, courage, and hope remain unshaken, he dreams of a future where he can live without constant pain, where he can breathe, move, and live freely again.
That future is possible, he has the chance to undergo a life-saving kidney transplant in India, but the procedure requires USD 30,000, far beyond what his family can afford. This transplant is his best hope for survival and a chance to rebuild the life that illness has taken from him.
Today, we humbly ask for help.
Any support—big or small—will go directly toward his dialysis, medication costs, and the life-changing transplant he urgently needs. Your generosity could give him the gift of life, hope, and a second chance.
Please help us keep his hope alive.
Please help us save his life.
